SHADYSIDE — Southern Local senior Rowan Wiley took first at 165 pounds to lead the Indians on Saturday at the Shadyside Last Man Standing Tournament.

MANSFIELD — East Liverpool’s Kyle Ingram was fifth at 113 pounds on Saturday at the 63rd J.C. Gorman Wrestling Tournament at Mansfield High School.

Two Bears win at Cameron

CAMERON — Wyatt Wolanski and Noah Schmidt won weight class title for Oak Glen on Saturday at the Coach Jim Potts Invitational at Cameron High School.

Schmidt defeated Independence’s Landon Burleson 4-1 in the 215-pound final, while Wolanski scored a 16-0 technical fall win over Cameron’s Marshall Crow in the 144-pound final.

Oak Glen’s Jordan Tomsic (106) and Parker Boyce (157) were second.

Oak Glen finished second overall with 203.5 points which was behind Independence’s total of 223.5.
