BERGHOLZ -- Beaver Local's boys golf team improved to 6-0 with a 157-191 victory over Edison in boys golf Thursday at Spring Hills Golf Course.
Owen Hill, Mikey Druschel and Andre Wiegand each shot 39 to pace the Beavers. Braxton Hickman carded a 40 to round out the team's scoring.
Beaver Local is at the Cardinal Classic today at Mill Creek South.

NEGLEY-- Southern Local improved to 4-3 with a 192-209 victory over East Palestine on Thursday at East Palestine Country Club.
Junior Rylee Digman earned medalist honors with a personal-best 44. Senior Lola Perfetto shot a season-low 46 and junior Ava Reed also set a season mark with a 52. Rounding out the Indians' scoring were senior Alyssa Deeley with a 50.
Kayla Bland led East Palestine with a 47, followed by Kennedy Andre at 52, Alivia Magness at 53 and Sydney Jurjavcic at 57.

MINERVA -- Minerva's girls golf team set a school record with a 165 round in wins over Beaver Local (200) and Alliance (213) on Thursday at Great Trail.
For the Lions (7-0) Peyton Beaumariage and Emery Sell had 39s. Mady Bartley had a 43 and Savanna Bartley had a 44.
For the Beavers, Mya Anderson had a 44, McKenzie Ash 47, Brenna Jones 52 and Julianna Johnson 57.
Kendyl Brown led the Aviators with a 41.
