WELLSBURG, W.Va. — Beaver Local improved to 2-0 with a 26-0 win over Brooke on Friday.

It was the second meeting between the Bruins and Beavers with Beaver Local winning 35-0 last season.

Beaver Local will head to St. Clairsville next Friday.

Wellsville 0

EAST CANTON — Wellsville got stung by the Hornets on Friday night.

East Canton rolled over the Tigers, 49-0, in high school football action.

The Hornets have outscored their first two opponents a combined 87-0 this season.

East Canton improves to 2-0, while Wellsville drops to 0-2.

Both teams play next Friday as Wellsville hosts Toronto and East Canton travels to Sandy Valley.

Fairport Harding 49, Lisbon 6

FAIRPORT HARBOR–Fairport Harding’s Brandon Gibson Jr. had 14 catches for 269 yards and seven touchdowns to lead the Skippers 49-6 win over Lisbon on Friday.

Ashton Hinchliffe had 57 yards rushing to lead the Devils on the ground. Grant Minor passed for 68 yards and a touchdown. Marc Moore caught the 59-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter.

Lisbon is 1-1 and is at Waterloo next Friday.
