Ohio Stadium to add end zone seating; band to move
COLUMBUS — Ohio State will debut south end zone premium seating at Ohio Stadium beginning with the 2026 football season, the university announced Thursday.
The new area will include nine elevated field-level suites and 400 chairback seats–the widest in the stadium–built directly above. Fans seated here will access their seats through the same tunnel the Buckeyes use to enter the field.
All chairback seat holders will receive access to the new 1922 Club, which includes all-inclusive food and beverages, private restrooms and a climate-controlled environment. The club will open three hours before kickoff and remain open for an hour postgame. It will also operate as a restaurant Tuesday through Saturday on non-game days.
Chairback seats are priced at $6,000 per season.
In a related change, the Ohio State Marching Band will return to the stadium’s north end zone, where it last played prior to renovations in 2001. Officials say the north end’s concrete foundation will better project sound, creating a more intense atmosphere for visiting teams. A new audio system will be in place for the 2025 season.
