Columbiana, West Branch and Beaver Local’s softball teams were rewarded with high seeding positions after the softball tournament draw on Sunday.

Eastern Ohio Athletic Conference champion Columbiana (17-5) earned the fifth seed in Div. V, while Buckeye 8 runner-up Beaver Local (15-4) is the fourth seed in the Div. IV Eastern Disitrict. Eastern Buckeye Conference champion West Branch (14-4) is the sixth seed in Div. IV.

Tournament play starts May 13. Below are first round opponents for area teams:
