Oak Glen is the top seed in the West Virginia Class AA Region 1, Section 1 softball tournament. The Golden Bears (23-8) will host the winner of Tyler Consolidated and Wheeling Central Catholic on Wednesday in the double elimination format tournament.

The Golden Bears swept the regular season series from Tyler and lost 3-1 to the second-seeded Maroon Knights.

Oak Glen is down a class after being in Class AAA for several years. The 2024 Class A state champion St. Mary’s is the top-seed in Region 1, Section 2.
