Indian Creek makes short work of Potters
WINTERSVILLE — Indian Creek brought the hammer down on East Liverpool with a 16-6 win in five innings on Thursday in softball action.
Cate Davis led the Potters (0-9) with a triple and an RBI. Kylee Evans had a hit and two RBIs.
Addie Jones took the loss with three strikeouts and 11 walks.
East Liverpool is at Harrison Central on Monday.

TORONTO — Toronto scored seven runs in the first and sailed to a 13-2 win over East Liverpool on Thursday in baseball action.
Elliot Fitch had a double for the Potters who had five hits total.
Cooper Klein took the loss with four earned runs, no strikeouts and two walks in an inning.
East Liverpool (0-6) is at Minerva on Saturday.

NEW MANCHESTER, W.Va. — It was a long evening for the Oak Glen baseball team as Edison ran away with a 25-3 win in five innings on Thursday.
Colt Hissam, Josh Maher and Maddox McKay had hits for the Golden Bears.
Ethan Wedgewood took the loss with six earned runs, no strikeouts and two walks on 19 pitches.
Oak Glen (5-7) hosts Toronto today.
