Oak Glen gains first win of the season
NEW MANCHESTER, W.Va. — Oak Glen’s baseball team split a pair of games with Ravenswood on Saturday at the Field of Dreams.
In a 16-9 Oak Glen win, Sam Jenkins had a double and a triple with four RBIs to lead the Bears, 1-3. Christian Chappel had two hits as did Maddox McKay.
Noah Willey was the winning pitcher with two strikeouts and two walks in four innings.
Ravenswood won the other game, 19-6, in five innings.
Chappell had two hits and an RBI for the Bears.

Toronto at Lisbon (DH)
LISBON — Lisbon’s softball team dropped a pair of games to Toronto Saturday in the opening series for both schools.
The Red Knights won the first game 13-7.
For Lisbon (0-2), Emelia Cook had two singles and a double with an RBI. Lexi Roush added two hits and an RBI. Delaney Pickens had a double.
Roush took the loss with four walks and four strikeouts in seven innings.
Toronto won the second game 14-4 in six innings.
Cook had a home run for the Devils.
Kamryn Peruchetti took the loss with six strikeouts and three walks in 5 2/3 innings.

NEW MANCHESTER, W.Va. — Morgantown handed Oak Glen its first loss of the softball season with an 8-6 advantage on Saturday.
Addie Smith had three hits and three RBIs for the Bears, 2-1. Riley Bruce had a single, double and RBI. Danica Holden and Kayla Wright had doubles.
Mattie Carney took the loss with six strikeouts and no walks in seven innings.
Oak Glen hosts Wheeling Park on Tuesday.
