LISBON -- Kamryn Peruchetti was crowned Lisbon's homecoming queen Friday and then her brother, Nick, helped the football team win the Spaghetti Bowl crown.
Nick Peruchetti's 61-yard interception for a touchdown along with the one-two punch of Ashton Hinchliffe and Grant Minor helped Lisbon beat Leetonia, 42-28, at War Memorial Stadium.
Hinchliffe ran for 205 yards and two touchdowns on 28 carries, while Minor completed six of eight passes for 133 yards and ran for 62 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries.
Lisbon improves to 3-5 overall and 2-4 in the Eastern Ohio Athletic Conference. Leetonia drops to 0-9 and 0-6 in the EOAC.
The Blue Devils had 400 total yards, while holding the Bears to minus-25 yards rushing.
Leetonia quarterback Carson Brock threw for 317 yards and three touchdowns on 19-of-38 passing and ran for a two-point conversion.
Brayden Gainey had six receptions for 158 yards and Dylan Johns seven catches for 78 yards.
It was a pair of early interceptions in a three-minute span that turned the tide in Lisbon's favor.
Lisbon scored on the opening drive on Hinchliffe's 8-yard run.
Devin Kelly came up with an interception on the Lisbon 4-yard line with 1:41 left in the first quarter. Peruchetti had an interception on Leetonia's next play and raced 61 yards to put Lisbon ahead 14-0 with 9:42 remaining in the second quarter.
Leetonia rallied to tie the game at 14-14 on Brock touchdown passes for Johns and Ethan Mathia. The Bears have not trailed in any game this season.
A Zylar Mundy 35-yard reception set up the Blue Devils' next score, Minor's 18-yard scramble with 43 seconds left in the first half that put Lisbon up 21-14.
In the second half, Minor added an 11-yard run and a 47-yard pass to Wyatt Newbold as the Blue Devils led 35-20. Gainey returned the kickoff 71 yards for a touchdown and Brock's conversion run pulled the Bears within 35-28 with just under 11 minutes remaining in the game.
Hinchliffe put the game out of reach with a 38-yard touchdown run to close out the scoring.
Both teams play Friday as Lisbon hosts Southern and Leetonia travels to East Palestine.

HANOVERTON -- United is in the driver's seat in the Eastern Ohio Athletic Conference.
The Golden Eagles raced out to a 21-0 lead and beat Wellsville, 56-27, Friday.
United improves to 7-1 overall and has sole possession of the EOAC lead at 5-0 after Southern beat Valley Christian. Those two teams are 4-1 in league play. United will play Valley next Saturday at Liberty High School and can clinch a share of the league title with a win.
The Eagles led 14-0 in the first quarter, 35-12 at halftime and 42-12 through three quarters.
Wellsville drops to 1-7 and 1-4 in the EOAC. The Tigers will host Columbiana on Friday.

Beaver Local 0
CALCUTTA -- Zion McGee scored two touchdowns in the second quarter and Indian Creek made it hold up for a 14-0 win over Beaver Local on Friday night.
Indian Creek improves to 7-1, while Beaver Local drops to 3-5.
McGee scored on a 77-yard run with 10:13 to play in the second quarter and capped a 73-yard drive with a 2-yard run with 14 seconds remaining in the first half.
Both teams play Friday with Beaver Local hosting Cambridge and Indian Creek traveling to St. Clairsville.
Tyler 55, Oak Glen 7
NEW MANCHESTER, W.Va. -- Tyler Consolidated senior Branson Winfrey could not be stopped Friday night.
Winfrey ran for 377 yards and four touchdowns on 19 carries in Tyler's 55-7 win over Oak Glen.
Kayden Utt added two touchdown catches from Brady Strode.
Tyler improves to 4-2, while Oak Glen falls to 1-6.
Oak Glen's Glen Adams scored on a 3-yard run and Sam Wright added the extra point to tie the score at 7-7 in the first quarter. Tyler added two more touchdowns in the first quarter to pull away.
Tyler piled up 587 total yards, including 533 yards on the ground. All of Oak Glen's 149 total yards were rushing.
Josh Mayer topped Oak Glen with 81 yards on 14 carries. Evan Clouston added 28 yards on 13 carries and Hayden Richie 20 yards on five carries. Devan Juszczak had 17 yards on three carries before leaving in the first quarter due to injury.
Oak Glen's next scheduled opponent, Trinity Christian, has canceled its season. The Golden Bears next will play at East Liverpool on Oct. 25. They added a game at Tygarts Valley (W.Va.) on Nov. 8.
