Wellsville golfers top tri-match
GUILFORD LAKE -- Wellsville came out on top in a tri-match at Twin Springs Golf Course on Wednesday.
Wellsville shot a 203, followed by Leetonia with a 213 and Southern 224.
For the Tigers, Nate McGraw had a 44, Maddox Bosco 55, Landon Ramsey 49 and Johnnie Tice 55.
For the Bears, Evan Rosko had a 41, Emma Cartwright 56, Jerimiah Falk 51 and Christian Kelly 65.
For the Indians Wyatt Bach had a 53, Logan Howell 51, Justus Black 49 and Ethan Richards 64.
Southern plays East Liverpool on Monday at Cedar Hills.
Springfield bests Beaver Local
LOWELLVILLE --Springfield's boys golf team bested Beaver Local, 179-188, Wednesday at Bedford Trails.
For the Tigers, Jackson Ensley had a 40, John Brungard 43, Cooper Ensley 44 and Kevin Flaherty 51.
For the Beavers, Britton Hickman had a 44, Braxton Hickman 45, Mikey Druschel 47 and Cole Jarvis 52.

EAST LIVERPOOL -- United swept the singles matches to down East Liverpool, 3-2, in girls tennis action at Thompson Park on Wednesday.
