COLUMBIANA -- Al Lindstrom and Adrianna Hodge were crowned overall champions as the Columbiana Cross Country Series concluded on Wednesday at the Ward Athletic Complex.
Lindstrom is a recent graduate of Seton Hill University where he competed on the school's track and cross country teams.
Hodge is a freshman at Crestview High School and qualified for the middle school state track meet in the 1600 in May.
Lindstrom was the winner of the fourth stage 5K race in 18:32, while Hodge was the top female in 21:11.
The 24th annual series had 603 total finishers which was the fourth largest. The 2018 series attracted 810 finishers. The 2019 series had 716 while the 2017 edition had 676.
Columbiana's Rick Hart has competed in 93 of the 96 series races.
