It's the "Red and White" we cherish. Guess we won't need this anymore?!
It's the Red and White we cherish
And so proudly cheer her name,
As each of us endeavors to
Brighten Beaver's fame.
It's the Red and White we cherish
May our standards never fail
Raise our voices all together,
To Beaver Local hail!
I for one will be wearing Red and White to my granddaughter's graduation Friday (May 26).
Shame on those who have changed the tradition! And for what reason? To please a few?
This battle is worth fighting. Slowly but surely every one of the traditions and mementoes that made Beaver Local what it is are disappearing.
Have you seen the class or athletic pictures or other Hall of Fame plaques anywhere in the new building? No. All of the accomplishments made in the past that helped build Beaver Local have been tossed out like so much trash.
When will it stop?
