Dear Editor:
Would it be insensitive to equate the United Steel Workers Union Leaders to having "battered womens syndrome" over their meeting with Senator Sherrod Brown (D) and Senator Tim Ryan (D)?
I'm not mentioning the rank-n-file members, just the leadership who are the power/money brokers.
In 2016, America has more people working in government than working in industry. America has moved from a nation that makes things to a nation that justs makes rules and regulations. The rank-n-file union members have three major concerns that have caused the disappearance of jobs. These being illegal immigration, NAFTA/TPP, and crippling EPA regulations.
Hey, those three reasons are bread-n-butter campaign platforms for the Democrat, so what gives?
However, it is noteworthy to point out that the Democrat Party has relinquished its leadership role of the "opposition party" to the media. The media lambast the POTUS's actions to curb illegal immigration as though America's need to step aside. This same media herald NAFTA/TPP as the linchpin to economic prosperity all the while industry has left taking American jobs with them. Not enough can be said about the weaponization of the EPA by the Democrats, but masked by the media as the defense against climate change.
Oh, give me a break!
It has only been the administration of President Trump that has taken direct action against these job killing concerns. Perhaps the unions need new leadership since the Democrat, like the media, are out-of-touch with us all.
