Dear Editor:
The base of the Democrat Party believe that all Republicans are pure evil with the media adding to the fervor. The Republicans all know the Democrat base is just plain wrong about everything and recognize the media's part.
This stark difference of opinion makes the idiom of "common ground" a waste of time.
The alt-left's only obsession is to crush Republicans, not better America. As well, the champions of these leftwing radicals (their elected representatives) will do and say anything too encourage lawlessness -- cue the media bias against President Trump.
But how does one deal with the petulance of the alt-left protestors, the unrepentant bias of the "Drive By Media" and the Democrat Party officials? The only way a law-abiding citizen can deal with it is the same way America dealt with the "campaign of distortion" for Hillary. Just realize these protests are artificially created with the media attempting to distort American opinion, ignore them all and then vote Republican.
President Trump ran as the law-n-order candidate and has already pledged support for law enforcement, so let the professionals handle the astro-turf street mobs. Granted, ripping the mask off one of those criminals on national television would make for instant gratification, but you'll have to take off work to do it.
The goal is a long term tangible satisfaction that becomes a special kind of salt to rub into their wounds. The salt being the utter defeat of their champions, their elected officials. Simply wait for the midterm elections and vote out the last remaining Democrats in Congress. Without a waste of breath, a futility of motion, or frustration over the divide America will have the last laugh, the last words. That last words being, "I told you so."
