I just read on Facebook about the 2016 graduation at East Liverpool High. In a society where the threat of an unfounded lawsuit has so much power, these young adults took the power back.
I watched the video with tears in my eyes and pride bursting from inside. I can’t even imagine the pride that the parents of these graduates have.
Although I am a Christian, my feelings do not come from the fact that these students stood together to say the Lord’s Prayer, it is that they stood together for something they believed in.
To the East Liverpool High School Class of 2016, I would tell them to continue on doing the great things they’ve started. They each have a great life ahead of them if they keep on with the thoughts and ideas they showed at graduation.
Congratulations to these graduates and best wishes as they each go on to their next endeavor.
