Dear Editor:
Just when you thought you were aware of most of all the inherent dangers that our pre-adults were facing – such as drug epidemic, abuses, molestations, etc. – the federal government enacts an order to our public schools (elementary, junior high and high school) on a mandatory ruling to comply to transgenderism or face losing federal and state financial aid.
I’m so flabbergasted that this even made any serious consideration by our government.
As for me, just such mandatory exposure to our children is ridiculous. Once you become an adult, we live in a country that allows freedom of choice, fine. I just don’t think it should be part of our schools’ curriculum.
Yes, I guess, I’m old school.
