Dear Editor:
I’m like most Americans – in utter despair for change in our country. Whether it be fairness across the board for all Americans in health insurance; decent, good-paying jobs; affordable higher education costs … and the list goes on.
But of course, our politics, to put it mildly, is an embarrassing debacle, fiasco mess. Nothing short of unbelievable.
Especially now with presidential nominations in full swing.
What bothers me even more is our media – savoring every word, every second of these candidates’ personal attacks on each other. Just to get the nomination. In fact, they promote, even instigate, the candidates to do just that. Why do the candidates allow it. They will tell you any publicity is good publicity.
My solution for change is “the channel.”
