He was born Aug.. 10, 1932, in Beaver Township, Mahoning County, Ohio, and was the son of the late Arthur R. and Elizabeth J. (Lute) Beard. 1943-2023 Karl E. Halstead, born Nov. 30, 1943, passed away Oct. 11, 2023. He was proceeded in death by two sisters and three brothers. He is survived by one brother, Ed Halstead; and four sons, Thomas A.
