Sharon Helen Call

1964-2026

BOARDMAN -- Sharon Helen Call, 62, of Boardman, formerly of Wellsville, passed away Saturday, Aug. 15, 2026, at Willow Woods Nursing Home following complications from a brain aneurysm.

She was born April 28, 1964, in East Liverpool, the daughter of the late Harry Kenneth and Rose Marie (Paris) Rodgers. She was also preceded in death on March 9, 2019, by her husband, Michael "Scott" Call; and her brother-in-law, Larry Mick.

Sharon graduated from Wellsville High School in 1982 and earned her Associate's degree in business from Jefferson County Community College. She was previously employed as a customer service representative for Warner Cable Company and also at InfoCision in Pittsburgh. Above all else, Sharon enjoyed spending time with her family. The births of her sons and being a mom were the most special moments of her life, and she was incredibly proud of the men they have become. She loved to go to the movies and especially watch horror movies with the boys as they got older, and she loved to go out to eat. She also enjoyed shopping and thrifting. Sharon was Catholic by faith.

She is deeply loved and will be especially missed by her sons: Michael Call of the United Kingdom and Joshua "Sonny" Call of Wellsville; her sister, her best friend, her surrogate mom, and her "person," Linda (Mark) DeMarco and Mogadore, Ohio; and her siblings: Ellen Mick of Pawley's Island, S.C. and Harry (Cheryl) Rodgers of Wellsville. Also left to cherish her memory are her companion, Mike, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service celebrating Sharon's life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026, at the home of Harry and Cheryl Rodgers.

Burial will be in St. Elizabeth Cemetery.

Roberts Funeral Home in Wellsville is entrusted with assisting the family with Sharon's arrangements.

Sharon's family and sister, Linda, would like to extend a special thank you to Harry, Cheryl, and Ellen for all their love and support through the years.
