Robert E. "Rob" Matheny, 75, of Harmony, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2026.
Born on Sept. 20, 1950, in East Liverpool, Ohio, Rob was the son of the late Elmer and Mary Matheny. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, James F. Matheny and Joseph L. Matheny.
A 1968 graduate of East Liverpool High School, Rob went on to attend Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where he earned his bachelor's degree in 1972. He built a distinguished career in the hospitality industry and spent more than 25 years with Marriott, where his professionalism, warmth, and dedication earned the respect of colleagues and friends alike.
Rob is lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and extended family and friends all over the world. He was deeply loved and will be remembered always.
