Richard T. Enochs, 86, of East Liverpool, passed away Monday, Sept. 21, 2026, at Calcutta Health Care Center.
Richard was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nancy Wilkinson Enochs, and his daughter, Trudy Dunbar.
A proud alumnus of the East Liverpool High School, Richard carried a deep love for his community and the people who called it home. He proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army and retiring from the United States Air Force, also serving as a Department of Defense Police Officer at the Youngstown Air Reserve Station in Vienna, Ohio.
Following his military service, Richard worked at Crucible Steel until its closure and later at Carriage Hill in Salem.
Richard was a man who believed in serving others and giving back to his community. He was a member of the East Liverpool Masonic Lodge #681, a former Shriner, a lifetime member of the NRA, and firearms instructor. He was also a proud member of American Legion Post #374 in East Liverpool. Richard and Nancy shared a special commitment to their alma mater, volunteering their time to assist the East Liverpool Alumni Association with its events. Their dedication to preserving friendships and supporting their community was something Richard cherished throughout his life.
Richard will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his pride in his military service, his love for his community, and the many lives he touched through his years of service and friendship.
He will be deeply missed by his loving son, Thomas Enochs and his wife, Jennifer Lucas, of Wellsville, along with his extended family, friends, fellow veterans, and the many people whose lives he touched throughout the years.
Richard's life will be celebrated Thursday, Sept. 24, 2026, at 6 p.m. at Arner Funeral Chapel. Friends and family may visit from 4 to 6 p.m., prior to the service. Pastor Ian Leyda will officiate.
Richard leaves behind a lifetime of memories, a legacy of service, and a community that will remember him with gratitude and affection.
