Joe Plunkett, beloved husband and father, was the son of Jean Thomas and Arthur Plunkett. He is survived by his wife, Tina Plunkett, and his daughter, Staci Plunkett.
Joe was a graduate of Oak Glen High School, Class of 1970. He spent many years working for Homer Laughlin China Company before retiring in 2017.
Joe was a collector at heart and found joy in many things throughout his life. Among his greatest interests were Disney, NASCAR, Coins, and The Review.
Those who knew Joe will remember him for his kind heart, loving nature, and friendship.
Joe's service was held on Sept. 2, a day that held special meaning as we gathered to celebrate his life and what would have been his 74th birthday.
Dad, I had to make this right for you. I hope you know how deeply you are loved and how much you are missed.
