Lucille M Jackson, 93, of West Point, passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on Monday, Aug. 3, 2026. She was born on March 13, 1933, the daughter of the late Clayton and Beatrice (Parrish) Cochran. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Jackson; a son, Jeff Jackson; and three sisters and three brothers.
She was a former nurses aide. She loved her family especially her grand and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed life and tried to live it to it's fullest. She was a good friend and neighbor. Her love lives on in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her.
Lucille is survived by two sons, Richard (Cindy) Jackson of Chester and Curtis Jackson of West Point; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Joan Snyder of Pennsylvania.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, Aug. 6, 2026 at the Nixon Funeral Home of Newell from 3 p.m. to time of funeral service at 6 p.m.
