EAST LIVERPOOL - Carolyn Mae O'Rourke Adams, of East Liverpool, went to be with the Lord, Aug. 26, 2026, where she was a resident of the Stone Pear Pavilion. She was 87.
Born in East Liverpool on March 26, 1939, she was the daughter of the late William O'Rourke and Emma Pauline Bourne.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters Lori Ludwig and her husband Bobby Ludwig; Mary Beohm and her husband Phillip Beohm. She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Amber "Chrissy" Cramer, Brandon W. Johnson, Jerrica Johnson, Erica Baker, Allana Baker, Devon Ludwig, Phillip Beohm II and Kamryn "Kami" Beohm; and nine great-grandchildren: Alexa Mae Cooper, Jemma Lee Ankrom, Jolion Cramer, Elise Marie Spencer, Ashton Baker, Brody Ludwig, Donovan Ludwig, Sebastian Sly and Amari Sly.
Carolyn enjoyed working alongside of her husband Jerry and daughter Tina at their business CJ's Used Furniture in downtown East Liverpool.
Carolyn was a member of the Campground Community Church. She loved spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Jerry, her daughter Tina Johnson, three sons Randy, Bobby and Rickey Wolfe, three brothers Fred O'Rourke, Tom O'Rourke and John Bourne.
The family invites loved ones to gather together for a time of remembrance and celebration at Nixon Funeral Home in Newell, W.Va. on Aug. 29, 2026 from 5 to 6 p.m. Followed by a service conducted by her friend and Pastor Tom Adkins. There will be no viewing.
