Charles ‘Chuck’ Timmons

Charles “Chuck” Timmons, 83, of East Liverpool, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2026. He was born on Feb. 24, 1943, the son of the late Harry and Helen Timmons. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Debbie Timmons, and several siblings.

He was a veteran of the Navy, and retired from the U S Postal Service. He was a former member of the East Liverpool Pool Leagues. A member of the American Legion Post 374 and a member of The House of Prayer. He also served the Church through the Men of Faith group.

Chuck is survived by two sons, Charles Timmons of North Carolina and Tom (Brandy) Bess of East Liverpool; two daughters, Sherry (Ted) Fischer of East Liverpool and Sandy Timmons. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, Cody, Devon, Taylor, Zoe, Brady, Emma, Ella, Jake, Ian, Maggie and Darby; one great-grandchild, Phoebe and one on the way; two brothers, Bill and Fred Timmons; and beloved fur baby, Dixie.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at the Nixon Funeral Home of Newell, from 4 to 6 p.m, and a funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m.
