Sandra M. Brock

EAST LIVERPOOL, Ohio – Sandra M. Brock, 78, of East Liverpool, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at home.

Sandra was born in East Liverpool, Ohio on Feb. 19, 1948, a daughter of the late Harry Lee and Dorothy Mae (Laughlin) Reckner. She was a graduate of Beaver Local High School Class of 1966. Sandra worked as a crossing guard and cafeteria monitor for East Liverpool City Schools. She enjoyed going camping with her family and friends. Sandra enjoyed collecting rocks and driving. Sandra was active in the Salvation Army and was a member of the Home League Ladies Group. She was loving referred to as “Bear” by her family. Most importantly, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt that enjoyed spending time with her family.

Preceding Sandra in death was her son Andy Brock.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 59 years, whom she married Feb. 2, 1967, Lester Brock; two sons, James Brock and his wife Kim and Michael Brock; daughter, Angel Brock and her husband Bill Powers; five grandchildren, James Brock and his wife Nikki, Cameron Brock, Ashlyn Brock and her husband Austin Proper, Trista Davis and her husband Zach and Zechariah Murphy; one great-grandson, Collin Proper; four brothers, Harry Timothy Reckner and his wife Geri, Terry L. Reckner, Randy W. Reckner and his wife Teresa and Steve M. Reckner and his wife Melissa; sister, Judith Strabala and her husband Bill; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Friends may visit Tuesday at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Pastor Tom Adkins will conduct a funeral service 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
