Linda R. Jordan

EAST LIVERPOOL — Linda R. Jordan, of East Liverpool, passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at her home. She was 83 years old.

Born in Lisbon Dec. 13, 1942, she was a daughter of the late William Elkins and Zadella Sachs Elkins Ludwig. A lifetime area resident, at one time she was the owner and operator of the Victoria Motel in Lisbon. She later worked at JoAnn Fabrics in Calcutta where she taught quilting. She later taught quilting at her home studio and judged many competitions. She was associated with many quilting guilds in the area.

Her husband, Russell L. “Russ” Jordan, passed away Oct. 11, 2020. The couple married Oct. 6, 1959. She was also preceded in death by her great-grandson, Thomas Jordan.

Survivors include two daughters, Robin Woodburn and her husband, Michael, and Stacy Brewer and her husband, William, and five sons, Russell L. “Rusty” Jordan Jr. and his wife, Pam, Richard Jordan, Randy Jordan, Ron Jordan and his wife, Cathy, and Robert Jordan.

There are 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren, as well as a sister, Connie Kidder.

In accordance with Linda’s wishes there will be no public visitation or funeral service. The Dawson Funeral Home has assisted the family with arrangements.
