Beverly Jean Walker
Beverly Jean Walker, “Bev,” a resident of Slaughter, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 31, 2026. She was 89 years old and was retired from Homer Laughling with 31 years of service.
Beverly was laid to rest next to her husband, William, in a graveside service at Azalea Rest Cemetery in Zachary, La.
She is survived by her sons, Robert A. Walker and wife, Kelly, and Kenneth E. Walker and wife, Corda, all of St. Francisville, La.; four grandchildren, Melissa Posey, Trisha Bowden, Maygan Montz and Amanda Robinson; and 10 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, William G. Walker, a granddaughter, Kaydee J. Walker and her sister, Marilyn Coe.
Beverly was a member of First Baptist Church Zachary and graduated from East Liverpool in Ohio.
