Terry Lynn Potts

Terry Lynn Potts, 79, of East Liverpool, passed away on Tuesday May 26, 2026. She was born on Sept. 16, 1946, the daughter of the late Jack and Mary (Jacobs) Davis. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of almost 61 years, Allen “Butch” Potts; two daughters, Crystal and Susan Potts; and a granddaughter, Kristen Smith. Also preceded by six brothers, Charles, Roy, Jack, James, Ralph, and Paul Davis; and four sisters, Francis Greathouse, Evelyn Harman, Geraldine Moore and Patricia Webb.

Terry came from and married into a large family. She loved spending time with and caring for her family and many beloved friends. She enjoyed crocheting, baking and gardening. She always looked forward to planning, shopping and preparing Sunday dinners with her son Tim, for the whole family. Her love will live on in the hearts of all those that knew and loved her.

She is survived by a daughter, Evelyn Potts, of East Liverpool; a son, Tim (Lisa) Potts of East Liverpool; six grandchildren, Amanda (Brandon) Roe, Jennifer (Justin) Lynch, Nichole (Nash) Simms, Ashley Curran, Timothy (Brianna) Potts Jr. and Allen (Alicia) Potts II. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, Brandon II, Harmony, Kaleb, Jaiden, Timothy III, Camden, Liam, Maddex, Koen, Ahkya, Aubryonna, Allex and Allen “AJ” III, and another one on the way, and a great-great-granddaughter Emery.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at the Nixon Funeral Home of Newell from 3 p.m. to time of funeral service at 6 p.m.
