Franklin Dale Helton

On Sunday, May 3, 2026, Franklin Dale Helton passed from this world into the next. Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Sally Ann (Kuen) Helton. He was the proud father of sons, Scott (wife Michelle) and Tommy Helton, and also George, and a grandfather to many. His final years were spent on his porch with his son, Tommy, where they both could just sit and watch the river flow.

After graduating from Springfield High School, Frank eventually made his way to East Liverpool, working throughout his life and finally retiring from Huttons Health Care in Salem, Ohio.

The special joy that our Dad found in his life came from living next door to his son, Scott, and spending time with Tommy. His hobbies included building Hot Rod models and practicing the art of sketching and painting on slate. He was also an avid country music fan and collected a wide array of recordings. These were a comfort for him toward the end.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at the Nixon funeral Home of Newell from 3 p.m. to time of funeral service at 6 p.m.
