Davis ‘David’ Miller

Davis “David” Miller, 62, of Newell, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, with his loving wife of 24 years at his side, after a brief battle with leukemia. He was born on Feb. 15, 1964, the son of Marlene Miller of Newell. He was preceded in death by Ray and Evelyn Simmons, who raised him.

David was a truck driver for over 18 years. He was a member of the Newell First Church of the Nazarene.

He is survived by his wife Teresa (Hall) Miller, at home; and a brother, Michael (Taylor) Miller of Arizona.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at the Nixon Funeral Home of Newell from 4 to 6 p.m., and a Funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Shadow Lawn.
