Richard was a man of quiet strength, deep faith, and unwavering dedication to his family and community. He treasured the friendships he formed there and enjoyed staying active, often spending time working out at the YMCA alongside friends.
Richard was known for his strong work ethic and humble nature. He was formerly employed at Swank Factories as a brick wheeler and at St. John Lutheran Church, where he worked as a sexton. He later served in the East Liverpool School District’s maintenance department. In every role, he took pride in his work and the contributions he made to those around him.
Above all, Richard was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He will be deeply missed by his daughters, Theresa James and Sallie Mott, both of East Liverpool; his grandchildren, Timothy James, Allison White, Richard James, Christina Hudson, and Lindsey Crowley; and his 12 great-grandchildren, who will carry forward his legacy of kindness and perseverance.
