Lewis G. Miles

EAST LIVERPOOL – Lewis G. Miles, of East Liverpool, passed away Monday morning, April 27, 2026, at the East Liverpool City Hospital. He was 94 years old.

Born in Richmond, Virginia, Dec. 24, 1931, he was a son of the late Charles H. and Aline Day Miles. A resident of the area since 1945, he worked at Homer Laughlin China. Lewis served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Beechwood Free Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Elizabeth “Betty Ann” Miles. The couple married June 26, 1982. He was also preceded by a brother Charles Miles, half-brother Stewart Falconer, and two half-sisters, Nancy Douglas and Marie Lail.

Rev. Norm Eckert will conduct a funeral service at 11 a.m. Monday, May 4, at the Dawson Funeral Home. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Military honors will be conducted by the Tri-State Veterans Burial Group. Burial will be at Shadow Lawn Memory Gardens.
