David Thomas Holbrook
David Thomas Holbrook, 76, of New Cumberland, W.Va., passed away Tuesday April 14, 2026 at Weirton Medical Center. A son of the late Napoleon and Alta (Dean) Holbrook, he was born in Holly River State Park, Hackers Valley, W.Va. He was retired from Weirton Steel as a mechanic.
He is preceded in death by a brother, Allen Holbrook, and two stepsons, Gary and Allen Skinner.
He leaves behind a loving wife Joan Holbrook, son Daniel (Nancy) Holbrook, sister Carole Holbrook, grandkids Logan Holbrook, Kayla Ty Jones, Clayton – Addison, Dakota, Shawn Jr., Seth – Jada, Haley; great-grandkids Hudson and Alaina (on way), nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Thursday, April 16, 2026 at Turley Funeral Home LLC, visitation starting at 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Shadow Lawn Memorial Gardens in Newell, W.Va.
