Wilda I. McCoy

Wilda I. McCoy, 94, of East Liverpool, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 23, 2026, at Valley Oaks Care Center in East Liverpool.

Born in Racine, Ohio, she was the cherished daughter of the late Kenneth and Edna Foreman Ours. Wilda lived a life rooted in love, faith, and devotion to her family.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George McCoy, who passed on April 1, 2006; and her sons, Kenneth and Stanley McCoy.

Wilda was a faithful member of the Lacroft Nazarene Church. She found great joy in cooking and baking, often bringing comfort and happiness to those around her through the meals she lovingly prepared. Above all, her family was the center of her world, and she took immense pride in the generations she helped nurture and guide.

She will be deeply missed by her sons, Philip McCoy of East Liverpool and Scott McCoy (Holly) of Washougal ,Wash.; her daughter, Brenda Printy of Fort Smith, Ark.; her 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren; as well as her brothers, Kenneth “Roger” and Wayne Ours of East Liverpool.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Wilda’s life on Friday, March 27, 2026, at 11 a.m. at the Arner Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Columbiana County Memorial Park. Friends may visit with her family on Thursday, March 26, 2026, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Wilda’s legacy of love, faith, and family will live on in all who knew her. Phil would like to thank the Valley Oaks Care Center and Patriot Hospice for the care and comfort they provide for his mother.
