Steven McComas

Steven McComas, 55, of East Liverpool, passed away on Feb. 26, 2026. He was born on March 28, 1970, the son of Emmitt (Judy) McComas and Jennifer (Jones) McComas of East Liverpool. He was preceded in death by his wife, Brandy (Cottrill) McComas.

Steven was formerly employed at Gateway Counseling. He was a member of AA and NA, and the Avondale Baptist Church. He was an avid Steelers fan, he was kind hearted and caring. He loved his family but his grandchildren were the “light of his life.” He was a good friend to many and he will be sadly missed.

Besides his parents he is survived by a son, Tyler (Kylie) McComas of Wellsville; a daughter, Regan Starkey of Wellsville; two grandchildren, Audrey and Silas McComas; and a brother, Emmitt Robert McComas of Columbus, and a niece, Takota McComas.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at the Nixon Funeral Home of Newell, from 3 p.m. to time of service at 6 p.m.
