Rose M. Allen
1931-2026
Rose M. Allen of East Liverpool, whose life was a tapestry woven with warmth and devotion, passed away peacefully at the age of 95. She left this world surrounded by the love of her family on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2026, at Crossroads Assisted Living.
Rose was born in East Liverpool on Jan. 18, 1931, to Ralph and Phylis Coputa Yanni.
She was a devoted homemaker whose days were filled with the comforting rhythms of family, laughter, and tradition. For several years, Rose brought the heart of Italy to East Liverpool from her family’s beloved restaurant, Fiorello’s, rolling pasta, stirring pots of rich tomato sauce, and shaping meatballs with the practiced hands of love. By night, she welcomed guests with a radiant smile and a kind word. Rose’s faith was steadfast, as she was a lifetime member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, and she was a proud graduate of East Liverpool High School.
In addition to her parents; her grandson, Zachary Arner; her brothers, Frank, Ralph Jr., Lou, and Ray Yanni; and her sisters, Mary Fiorello and Joan Prince, preceded her in death.
She leaves her husband, Roy Allen; her daughter, Laurie (Mitch) Breneman of Granville, Ohio; her sons, Jeff Allen of East Liverpool and Scott Allen of Conneaut, Pa.; and her grandchildren, Kylene Massey and Emily Allen. Also, many nieces and nephews survive.
Father Bill Matheny will preside over Catholic Funeral Rites at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester on Sunday, Feb. 8, at 1 p.m. Friends are invited to visit with her family at the funeral home on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
