Donna Dearth, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on Jan. 24, 2026, in her hometown of East Liverpool, Ohio. She was born on Dec. 8, 1933, in East Liverpool, Ohio, and lived a full and meaningful life of 92 years.
Donna dedicated much of her life to her work at Boyce Church in East Liverpool, Ohio, where she served diligently as a secretary/treasurer and Choir Director. Her commitment to the church extended beyond her professional roles, as she was an active member of the Mary Esther Circle, contributing to her community and faith with grace and dedication.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Margaret (Deshler) Hissom; and her brother Robert C. Hissom. Donna leaves behind a loving family who will cherish her memory: her devoted husband of 69 years who she married on Sept. 21, 1956, Raymond Dearth; her son, Steven (Faith) Dearth; her daughters, Karen (Bill) Sims and Kathy Severs (Greg Cunningham); and her grandchildren, Gregory (Kristy) Sims, Amy (Jay) Soileau, Kara (Arch) Hyde, and Lindsay Betz. She was also blessed with eight great-grandchildren: Ava Wright, Jayce Soileau, Aubree Phares, Brooks Soileau, Presley Betz, Caelynn Hyde, Tristen Hyde, and Briar Hyde.
Donna’s life will be celebrated at the Martin Chapel of Care Funeral & Cremation Specialists. Visitation will take place on Friday, Jan. 30, from 2 to 4 p.m., followed by a service commemorating her life at 4 p.m.
Her enduring love and kindness will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
