Bobbie Jean Boggess
1945-2026
Bobbie Jean Boggess, 80, of Wellsville, passed away Monday, Jan. 26, 2026. She was born in Wellsville on Aug. 12, 1945, the daughter of the late, Alonzo and Hazel (Morrell) Boggess. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Lonna Martin and Amy Jo Rosenbaum; two sisters, June Brown and Faynell Wolfe; and two brothers, William Boggess and Lon Boggess Jr.
She retired after 38 years from PCC Air Foils, she was a member of the East Liverpool VFW Aux. 66 and an avid Steelers Fan and Bingo Player.
Bobbie is survived by her life-long companion, James Salsberry, at home; three daughters, Billie J. Heiney of Arizona, Kathern "Betsy" Brown of Wellsville and Amy (PR) Kostival of Ohio; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, Jan. 29, 2026 at the Nixon Funeral Home of Newell from 4 p.m. to time of funeral service at 6 p.m. Interment will be at Spring Hill Cemetery.
