William ‘Billy’ Wells

William “Billy” Wells, 64, of Chester, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2025. He was born on June 21, 1961, the son of the late William and Donna (Ice) Wells. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia Lewis and Tammy Wells.

He is survived by his companion, Amy Cowdery of Chester; two sons, Lee Wells of New Cumberland and Joshua Wells of East Liverpool; and a daughter, Megan Wells of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by four brothers, Mike Wells, Jeff Wells, Brian Wells and Doug Wells; and three sisters, Christi Tharp, Tracey Wells and Kimberly Reed.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025 at the Nixon Funeral Home of Newell from 2 p.m. to time of service at 6 p.m.
