Robert "Bob" Shuman, 95, of New Cumberland, passed away Thursday, Dec. 18, 2025. He was born on July 29, 1930, the son of the late John and Mary (Rice) Shuman. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Shirley, a daughter Patsy Lanham; two sons, Tim and Harry Shuman; a great-grandson; four brothers, Richard, Kenny, Don and Tom Shuman; and two sisters, Ruth Wells and Mildred Riggleman.
Bob is survived by two daughters, Roberta Hill and Kathy (Gabe) Giordano; two sons, Robert (Betty) Shuman Jr. and Randy (Sandy) Shuman; 19 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Gene Shuman.
Family and friends will be received on Monday, Dec. 22 at the Nixon Funeral Home of Newell from 11 am. to time of funeral service at 1 pm. Interment will follow at Shadow Lawn Cemetery.
