Vincent R. ‘Vince’ Imburgia
1932-2025
WELLSVILLE — Vincent R. “Vince” Imburgia, 92, of Wellsville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Nov. 16, 2025, at his daughter’s home in Greenville, Ohio.
He was born Dec. 3, 1932, in East Liverpool, the son of the late Charles and Mary Josephine (Ross) Imburgia. In addition to his parents, Vince was preceded in death on May 16, 2021, by his wife, Joyce E. (Nixon) Imburgia, whom he married Sept. 19, 1953. He was also preceded in death by his son-in-law, Dennis Russell; granddaughter, Heather Russell; and sister, Josephine Kelly.
Vince graduated from Wellsville High School in 1950. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1953 to 1971, serving two years of active duty and 16 years in the Reserves. Vince was a mason and worked for several different construction companies in the area. He was a hard worker and a family man. Vince attended The Church of God in Greenville.
Survivors include his daughters: Debbie (Sam) Shilot of Greenville and Patricia Russell of Wellsville; and his siblings: Joseph (Peggy) Imburgia of Wellsville and Pauline Hager of Florida. Also surviving are four grandchildren: Annette Black, Celeste (Matthew) Skidmore, Tricia Russell, and Christina (Jordan) Phillips; and eight great-grandchildren: Jordan Russell, Jaxon Skidmore, Isabella Black, Madex Skidmore, Dominic Black, Rileah Phillips, Bronx Skidmore, and Kase Phillips.
The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 21, 2025, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Vince’s son-in-law, Pastor Sam Shilot of Triumphant Christian Center in Greenville officiating. The Tri-State Veterans Burial Group will accord full military honors.
Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Family and friends may visit from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday and 10 to 10:30 a.m. on Friday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main St. in Wellsville.
