Nita C. Hall
1946-2025
Nita C. Hall, a cherished member of the Chester community, peacefully departed this life at the age of 79 on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2025, at Stone Pear Pavilion, where she had resided for several years.
Born on Nov. 11, 1946, in East Liverpool, Nita was the eldest of three children of the late John F. and Anna Yatta Ludovici. She dedicated her career as a warranty clerk at her family’s beloved auto dealership, Tad Motors, in East Liverpool. A proud member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Chester, Nita was also a proud alumna of Oak Glen High School.
Nita possessed an extraordinary love for all living beings, especially animals, and her kindness knew no bounds. With a remarkable aptitude for fixing nearly anything, she was a true craftsman at heart. Her creativity blossomed through her stunning arts and crafts, capturing the beauty of the world around her. Many of her happiest moments were spent on the water, boating on the Ohio River alongside her beloved husband, Jim, and forging lasting friendships at the Holiday Yacht Club in Chester.
Preceding her in death were her devoted husband, James R. Hall Sr., and her brother and sister-in-law, John T. and Linda Ludovici.
Nita took immense pride in her role as a mother and grandmother. She is survived by her son, James R. (Trenna) Hall of Chester; her beloved grandchildren, Peyton (Hannah Clunk) Hall and Teya (Shawn Wheeler) Hall, Braxton (August) Walls, Bryson (Morgan) Walls, Mattie Carney, and Gavin Carney; her dear sister, Fran (Gary) Phillips; and numerous cherished nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are warmly invited to celebrate Nita’s extraordinary life at Arner Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, Nov. 19, at 6 p.m. Visitors are welcome to share their condolences and memories with the family at the funeral home from 3 to 6 p.m. that same day.
