Larry ‘Joe Joe’ White

Larry “Joe Joe” White 69, of New Waterford Ohio, passed away at home Nov. 13,2025. He was born Feb. 13, 1956, the son of the late Willie P and Mattie L. (Hicks) White. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Jovania Ann, his companion Denise Stanley, brothers Willie, Leotis, Timothy, David and sister Mae Bell.

He was a 1975 graduate of Wellsville High School and standout basketball player. He was a former employee of Crucible and American Steel. Joe enjoyed fishing, playing cards and was always a happy go lucky person.

He is survived by one son, Eric J. White; brother Calvin (Gloria) White and sister Jannie (Udo) Gafiuk; grandchildren, Eric, Caden, Adonis, Vonetta, Micheala, Chaunzey, Jayonia; great-grandchildren, and host of nieces and nephews.
