Francie Westfall, 75, of Steubenville, passed away Thursday, November 13, 2025. She was born on July 14, 1950, the daughter of the late Charles Keuper and Rose (Copestick) Fellure. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, William Smith Jr. and her second husband, Roger Westfall; a son, Gregory Smith and several brothers.
She is survived by two sons, Michael (Sian) Smith of New Cumberland and John Smith of NE. and two daughters, Christine Snow of East Liverpool and Kayla Osburne of Wintersville. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Seth, Kami, Corey, Grayson, L'Jay, Blakely and Aria and a great-grandson, Timmy and one on the way; a sister, Helen Franklin of Fla.; and companion Bob Norton.
Anyone who knew Francie knew that she loved those close to her with all of her heart. She had a deep connection and devotion to her faith, regularly attending church and playing piano at services for many years, of which her love of music was shared with her numerous grandchildren. She also was an avid reader and loved a good story or trip to the drive-in, as well as dedicating several years to her pool leagues and bowling. But mostly, she had a deep love for her children and grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at the Nixon Funeral Home of Newell, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. to time of service at 7 p.m.
