Albert Bragg

Albert Bragg, 76, of East Liverpool, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2025. He was born on Oct. 2, 1949, in East Liverpool, the son of the late Aaron and Lola (Harris) Bragg. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Amanda Bragg; a brother, Frank Bragg; and a sister, Angie Birkhimer.

Albert was a veteran of the Army, a past member of the Newell and New Manchester Volunteer fire departments and the Newell Lions Club. He was a member of the Ohioville Grange; a deacon at Grant Street Church. He enjoyed donating time to the Way Station and local food banks.

He is survived by his wife Mary (Buzzard) Bragg, at home; a daughter, Angel (Dennis) Hartley of East Liverpool; four grandchildren, Kenneth, Brandon, Tyler and Marissa (Jeff); seven great-grandchildren, Julian, Serenity, Alayah, Dominick, Kaylee, Kayden and Elijah; a brother, Bill (Bunny) Bragg of New Manchester; and canine “Baby.”

Family and friends will be received on Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Nixon Funeral Home of Newell, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery where the Chester VFW and American Legion will conduct military services. The family request memorial contributions be made to the Nixon Funeral Home to assist in expenses.
