William F. Danley

1950-2025

EAST LIVERPOOL – William F. Danley, of East Liverpool, passed away Sunday, Aug. 31, 2025, at the East Liverpool City Hospital. He was 75 years old.

Born in East Liverpool Feb. 19, 1950, he was a son of the late Harold E. and Helen M. Mick Danley. An East Liverpool High School graduate, he continued his education at Wheeling Jesuit University. Bill enjoyed a career of over 40 years at the Homer Laughlin China Company where he was the vice-president and CFO. He was a member of Holy Trinity Parish.

He is survived by a brother, Thomas E. Danley and his wife, Jean, of Columbiana; and two nephews, Thomas P. Danley and his wife, Colleen, of East Liverpool, and Robert Danley and his wife, Michelle, of Cleveland; as well as a great-nephew, T.J. Danley, and a great-niece, Lexi Danley and her fiance, Luke Edgell. He also leaves behind his faithful companion Smudge.

Fr. Bala Marneni will conduct a funeral service at 1 p.m. Friday at the Dawson Funeral Home. Friends may visit two hours prior to the service. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery.
