WELLSVILLE -- Mary Ann Elliott, 84, of Wellsville, passed away Saturday, Sept. 13, 2025, at East Liverpool City Hospital following a brief illness.
She was born Dec. 11, 1940, in Wellsville, the daughter of the late Ralph "Bud" and Mary (Zearley) Welch. In addition to her parents, Mary Ann was preceded in death on April 3, 2020, by her husband, James "Jim" Elliott, whom she married Sept. 6, 1958. She was also preceded in death by two sons: James "Doug" Elliott and Donald Elliott; infant sister, Sue Carol Welch; and one brother, William "Bill" Welch.
Mary Ann graduated from Wellsville High School in 1958. She was employed as a floral designer for Hillcrest Florist and Carriage House Flowers. Mary Ann was a member of the Wellsville Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary and was Christian by faith.
Survivors include her son, Ronald (Kathy) Elliott of East Liverpool; daughter-in-law, Karen Elliott of Wellsville, and one sister, Bonnie Ramirez of Punta Gorda, Fla. Also surviving are three grandchildren: Sanna Surace, Chad Elliott, and Chelsea Elliott, as well as five great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 19, 2025, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Blakeley of the Wellsville First Christian Church officiating.
Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Family and friends may visit on Friday from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville, OH 43968.
