Mike is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Bert; his two children, Max Fisher (Carolyn) of Falls Church, Virginia, and Mya Hasson (Darin) of East Palestine, Ohio; and five grandchildren: Colin, Brendan, and Luke Fisher, and Mave and Mariel Hasson. He is also survived by two siblings: Frank Fisher II (Linda) of Calcutta, and Linda Creaturo of Greensboro, North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Joanne Fisher, and his brother TH Fisher.

Born on Jan. 29, 1947 in East Liverpool, Mike was a lifelong resident of Calcutta and member of the class of 1965 at Beaver Local High School, where he was class president and a member of the wrestling team. Upon graduation, Mike served proudly in the United States Navy and then joined O.S. Hill and Company in 1969, working there for 42 years before retiring as President and General Manager in 2010. Mike also volunteered his time with Fish Food Bank, Beaver Local High School, and was the first President of the Calcutta Lions Club. Mike was a member of Longs Run Presbyterian Church and Assembly of God Church.

Mike was a loving husband, father, grandpa, and friend to all. He valued time with family and friends, and spent countless hours listening and helping those in need. Mike was an avid reader and history buff. He found great joy reading his bible faithfully. Mike had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making you smile with one of his many jokes. Mike appreciated all types of music — Irish music in particular — and was known to hit the dance floor with Bert any time the opportunity was presented. He also loved traveling to different places over the years, but he always enjoyed returning home to Calcutta.
