JoAnn McDole Rhodes
JoAnn McDole Rhodes, 87, a beloved mother and grandmother of Kennesaw, Ga., departed peacefully on July 25, 2025. She was the daughter of Orval H. and Marie McDole. Predeceased by her brothers, Orval E. McDole and Paul McDole.
She graduated from East Liverpool High School in 1956. She was a successful insurance agent for AFLAC for numerous years. She was an active member of the Red Hat Society.
JoAnn was the beloved wife of Frank Rhodes, with whom she shared 67 years of a beautiful and enduring marriage. She is survived by her children: Greg Rhodes (Laura) of Lakemont, Ga.; Doug Rhodes (Aimee) of Kennesaw, Ga., and Maria Rhodes of Kennesaw, Ga. She is survived by her grandchildren: Parker Rhodes of London, England; Tyler Rhodes (Breana) of Cartersville, Ga.; John Rhodes of New York, N.Y. and Bailey Rhodes (fiance Seth Kilpatrick) of Kennesaw, Ga.
A memorial service to celebrate JoAnn’s life will be held on Aug. 14, 2025 at The Woodstock Church of Christ.
